Family Trust Beteiligungsholding acquires majority stake in Ulm-based IT service provider alphaQuest. Originally founded as a system house, alphaQuest has developed into a highly specialized provider of data analytics, business analytics and software engineering under the management of Dr. Christian Wagner. From its two locations in Ulm and Berlin, alphaQuest serves renowned German corporations and medium-sized companies with more than 50 employees. alphaQuest is a leading provider of high-quality consulting services along the data science value chain with a focus on data management and business intelligence up to the modeling of complex mathematical models (predictive analytics).
Family Trust acquires all shares of the company founder and previous majority owner André Probst, who will leave the company upon completion of the transaction. At the same time, the minority shareholder Dr. Christian Wagner takes a significant back stake and will continue to be responsible for the development of alphaQuest as Managing Director.
