The shareholders of Family Trust Investor FTI GmbH (FTI) have founded a new investment holding company, greatly expanded the existing investor base and raised firmly committed equity capital. In addition to significant own funds of the founders, FTI invests the assets of institutional investors, family offices, wealthy entrepreneurial families and private individuals in successful and above-average profitable, medium-sized companies in German-speaking countries.
The clear focus of the investment strategy is the implementation of buy & build concepts in fragmented markets with consolidation potential as well as age-related succession planning. In doing so, FTI differentiates itself through the strong operational expertise of its partners.
“Our investment holding company can invest equity in the low double-digit millions per company and, if required, allocate significantly more equity through additional co-investments,” Carsten Abdel Hadi, FTI Managing Director.
The fundraising of Family Trust Beteiligungsholding was successfully completed after eight months in Q3/2018 with the achievement of the hard cap.
