At the end of 2021, investors advised by Family Trust (“Family Trust”) acquired novia Handels GmbH & Co. KG (“novia”).
novia is successfully positioned in the market as a full-service manufacturing service provider and global sourcing expert with a focus on zinc and aluminum die casting. From its site in Iserlohn (DE), the company supplies leading OEMs with high-quality individual parts and assemblies, focusing primarily on the sanitary industry.
As part of the transaction, Family Trust acquired 100% of the shares in novia Handels GmbH & Co. KG as well as the Asian subsidiaries from the shareholders Werner Schotte and Bernd Hennecke. The aim is to support the further growth of the company and to exploit synergy potentials with the Family Trust portfolio company Global Sourcing Services AG (GSS), which was acquired in mid-2021.
Bernd Hennecke and Werner Schotte commented: “We are very pleased with the successful closing of the transaction last December and know that with Family Trust we have found a suitable long-term partner for the company.
